Walker Rick has over a decade of experience successfully defending clients charged with crimes of all levels. From misdemeanor offenses like disorderly conduct to the most serious felonies carrying the possibility of life without parole, Walker has delivered favorable results to his clients in the form of successful plea negotiations, dismissal of charges, and not guilty verdicts after trial.
Walker understands that no matter how big or small the offense charged may be, each case is enormously important to his clients and their families. He is a tough lawyer who will stand up to prosecutors, law enforcement, and judges in court while at the same time making sure that his clients feel heard, protected, and informed throughout their entire case. Walker’s sole focus is figuring out what his clients want out of their case and delivering that outcome.
Walker is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a dual degree in Economics and Psychology, and the University of Georgia School of Law, where he competed on both the Moot Court and Mock Trial teams. He is also a graduate of both the Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy Program and the National Criminal Defense College, two prestigious post-graduate programs dedicated to developing the skills of talented criminal defense attorneys.
Walker is barred to practice law in Georgia and Louisiana and has been recognized by the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers as a member of the Blackstone’s Order for successfully securing not guilty verdicts after trial.
